How do I change the password to access the DirectAdmin panel?

If you want to change the password for your DirectAdmin panel, you can easily do it in just a few clicks. Change the password for DirectAdmin hosting as follows:

Step 1: Log in to the DirectAdmin panel (How to log in to DirectAdmin - instructions) and click on the profile icon (User profile):

Step 2: In the Password Management section, first enter the existing (old) password, then the new password:
  • Enter the old password in the field "Current password:"
  • Enter the new password in the field "New password:"

Step 3: After entering the old and new password in the fields provided for that, you should also click on the "Change password" button.

The password has since been changed and you can use the new password to access DirectAdmin hosting.
