Remote access to MySQL

Remote MySQL, remote access to MySQL database can be set directly from cPanel. You need to have and know your static IP address that should be entered in the corresponding application in cPanel.

You can do this as follows:

1. Log into cPanel. In the search field in cPanel type "remote mysql" and select the application that appears in the results:

2. When an application is open, in the Host box, enter the remote IP address:

To save the settings, click the button Add Host.
